Remote Shoots

Remote photography experienced a significant surge in popularity during the pandemic, and it has continued to thrive ever since. If you are interested in collaborating with me from a distance and wish to achieve stunning, high-quality results that parallel the beauty of images captured by your own camera, I encourage you to read on and discover more about the process!

How it works

Imagine you are David Bailey, directing assistants to handle various tasks for you, all while you maintain creative control and guide the entire photoshoot. Remote shooting operates in a remarkably similar fashion! You connect to my computer, where my full-frame mirrorless camera is tethered, providing you with a live view of the scene. By utilizing Capture One software, you gain the ability to control aspects such as focus, camera settings, and pressing the shutter button.

We connect through a video call to communicate, and during this session, you can request modifications such as posing adjustments, camera angle changes, styling alterations, and light adjustments.

Remote shooting is generally slower than conducting shoots in person, and it does require you to be more organized regarding the overall structure of each shoot. However, the quality of the images produced remains equivalent to that of in-person shoots, and you retain the same level of creative control throughout the process. Pacing is up to you and what type of shoot you enjoy.

After the images are shot, I will send you a dropbox link with them uploaded into. This will happen about an hour after the photoshoot for a 2 hour session. The longer the session, the more chance it will take a few hours to upload.
